Glass Repair Dee Why

Broken Glass in Dee Why? Call Fusion Glass Now!

Fast, Safe & Reliable Glass Repairs When You Need Them Most

Smashed window from a storm? The shower screen exploded? Shopfront hit after hours? We handle the make-safe first when it comes to glass repairs in Dee Why. We then move straight into a proper, code-compliant replacement. If it’s a standard residential window, we can usually glaze it the same or next business day. Toughened or laminated glass (eg shower screens, balustrades, pool fencing) is custom-made and typically takes 5–7 business days.

Call us or use the online enquiry form with the location of the glass (bathroom, pool area, balcony, shopfront), approximate size, and any immediate safety risks (kids, pets, public access). We’ll give you an honest ETA and a clear plan.

24/7 Service You Can Count On

When it can’t wait, here’s what you can expect from Fusion Glass:

  • Emergency board-up/make-safe so the area is secure and weatherproof.

  • Same-or next-day glazing for common window sizes and frames.

  • Clear timelines for custom-toughened or laminated panels.

  • No guesswork: We’ll tell you exactly what happens now, and what happens when the new glass lands.

  • No waiting. Just call or enquire online and we’ll guide you from there.

What We Can Repair Quickly

  • Windows (houses, units, shops): Often re-glazed fast if it’s standard float glass. If it’s within one metre of the floor, in doors, or in wet areas, safety glazing is legally required. We’ll specify the correct AS2208-certified product.

  • Shower screens: Most frameless screens are 10 mm toughened. These are always custom-made. We’ll secure the area, measure precisely, and return for installation.

  • Mirrors: 4 mm or 6 mm with safety backing where needed to stop flex and warping.

  • Balustrades & stair glass: Must meet minimum height and loading requirements, not just “fit the hole”. We’ll ensure compliance, alignment, and correct hardware.

  • Pool fencing: Needs to meet AS1926 (pool safety) and AS1288. Heights, latch clearances, and gaps all matter.  We get it council-ready.

  • Shopfronts: We prioritise security first (board-up).  Then we replace it with laminated/toughened glass depending on exposure and risk.

Keeping You Safe & Compliant

We work to the standards that councils, insurers and certifiers actually look for:

  • AS1288:2021, correct glass type, thickness, fixings, and framing.

  • AS2208, only certified safety glazing where required (doors, low-level glazing, bathrooms, balustrades, shopfronts).

  • Edge clearance, packers, and support to prevent stress fractures later.

  • Pool & balustrade specifics (eg 1200 mm minimum pool fence height, correct loads, and panel spacing).

No shortcuts, no “near enough”. It’s either compliant and safe, or we won’t sign off.

Our Promise: First-Time Right

  • We make-safe properly (no duct tape over shattered panels).

  • We turn up with the right consumables:  Correct rubbers, packers, neutral-cure silicone in wet areas.

  • We leave it spotless:  Shards vacuumed, edges de-burred, no silicone smears.

  • We brief you on aftercare: Curing times, how to clean toughened glass without scratching it, and what to watch for.

  • Need paperwork for insurance? We’ll provide itemised invoices, photos, and compliance notes.
